Becoming A Member

Your participation in the Task Force helps ensure that California’s agricultural community receives the support it needs in the fight against rural crime. Annual dues are $100.00 per agency or business entity, payable each February. The Task Force meets quarterly at various locations throughout California, and representatives from member agencies and businesses are encouraged to attend. A $35 meeting fee applies to each attendee. The CRCPTF also offers a grant to assist potential members and law enforcement officers with meeting attendance.

Please click HERE for information on the grant offered by the CRCPTF:

Benefits of Membership

The Task Force provides a strong network of law enforcement professionals and industry partners who actively share prevention programs, ideas, talents, and expertise, all with the common goal of protecting California’s agricultural industry.

Specialized Crime Prevention Training

The Task Force provides valuable training opportunities not only at the annual Rural Crime School, but also during each quarterly meeting. In addition, through its website, meetings, and email bulletins, the Task Force keeps members informed on the latest tools, resources, and legal developments that may impact rural crime prevention. By sharing best practices, member agencies are able to remain efficient and effective in their efforts to combat rural crime.

Regulatory Partners

Federal and state agents working in the agricultural sector are encouraged to become members, as they also deal firsthand with the challenges and issues related to agricultural crime.

Industry Partners

Our industry partners include agricultural businesses, dairymen, farmers, ranchers, equipment dealers, livestock auction houses, feed stores, financial institutions, and others operating within agriculture-related industries. These partners play a vital role in assisting law enforcement by becoming educated and engaged in rural crime prevention, reporting issues, and adopting best practices to reduce and prevent such crimes.

Membership Application*

If you are interested in becoming a member with the CRCPTF, please send us an email at info@crcptf.org requesting a membership application.
